Following the adoption of the Material You visual system for Google Pixel products, the Pixel team tasked us with developing a new illustration system in line with Material You. The result is a versatile system incorporating shapes, colors, and textures inspired by Material You’s humanistic elements, producing visuals that range from abstract to literal, including UI representations and characters.
